The problem

A daily pill isn't
as simple
as it sounds.

200 million people worldwide depend on thyroxine to survive. But every dose must be taken at the same time, stored correctly, and absorbed perfectly. One disruption ripples through your entire life.

🏕
The camper who stopped camping

Thyroxine must stay below 25°C. No fridge in the forest means no adventure — a hobby stolen by medication logistics.

👶
The child who hates tablets

A morning pill battle, every single day, for the rest of childhood. And beyond.

🎖
The Navy SEAL at a desk

Years of elite training. A career confined to an office because daily medication requirements are incompatible with active duty.

The solution

One implant.
Up to three years* of freedom.

ThyX is a precision-engineered slow-release implant being developed to deliver a consistent, calibrated dose of thyroxine — with the aim of reducing the daily burden entirely.

3yr*
Continuous hormone delivery

A single implant procedure is being designed to provide steady thyroxine release for up to three years* — equivalent to over 1,000 daily doses, delivered automatically with no action required from the patient.

01
No storage hassle

Travel anywhere. Camp anywhere. Work anywhere. No medication to carry, refrigerate, or worry about.

02
Consistent dosing

Unlike oral medication, absorption isn't affected by food, digestion, heat, or humidity — delivering reliable hormone levels every hour of every day.

03
Designed for everyone

Children, athletes, travellers, military — ThyX removes the barriers that daily medication imposes on every aspect of life.

How it works

Simple by design

1
Consultation

A clinician assesses your thyroxine needs and calibrates the implant to your specific dosage.

2
Brief procedure

The ThyX implant is inserted in a simple outpatient procedure — small, fast, and minimally invasive.

3
Continuous release

The implant is designed to deliver a steady, precise hormone dose for up to three years* — no maintenance required.

4
Replace or renew

After up to three years*, the implant would be replaced in another brief procedure and the cycle continues.

Our story

Born from
lived experience.

ThyX was founded by Aneta Nash, who knows the daily burden of thyroid disease from the inside. After battling thyroid cancer that required the complete removal of her thyroid gland, Aneta faced the same reality as 200 million people worldwide — a lifelong dependence on daily medication.

Rather than accepting the limitations, she channelled that experience into building the solution the world was missing — and she leads by example every single day.
